A MOTHER-OF-FOUR has shown how much you can cram into a small room without sacrificing style.

Kirsty Lou joked that she is even jealous of her 15-year-old daughter's bedroom, complete with fridge, desk with a view and double bed.

Through TikTok, the small business owner wanted to show “how much you can fit into a small room.”

Her teenage daughter has the smallest room in the family home, but Kirsty didn't want that to mean sacrifice.

“She has the smallest room in the house and because she is the oldest, it is important that she has the space where she can retreat, work and relax,” she explained.

“Do you know how hard it is to fit all these things into such a small space?

“However, I think we have achieved it.

“I'm so happy that we can give her this space, just for her.”

An IKEA Kallax shelving unit worth £115 was used to design the room as it gives the teenager a place to store things.

Next door, Kirsty installed a desk which she said has “the best view in the house” as it overlooks the garden and a field.

To get a double bed in the small room, Kirsty and her husband made a cubbyhole that could fit a mattress.

The bed sits closer to the floor than a traditional bed because the parents built one specifically for the cubby.

I converted a small, narrow garage into a luxury bedroom with its own living room and even an ensuite

Above the teen's bed is her sister's bed, which is in a completely different room after Kirsty molded the bedrooms together so each of the girls had more space.

“Her bed is half in her room, half in her sisters,” Kirsty explained in the comments.

“Before we built her bed, she had a single bed there and a wardrobe and that was it.

“It's so much better laid out now.”

But that's not even the quirkiest part of the room: the teen has even stocked her own fridge with her favorite snacks and drinks.

“I would have loved a room like that when I was little,” Lisa Young said of Kirsty's video.

“Great job!”

“No one would ever see me again,” another viewer joked.

“I would become one with the room.”
