MICHELLE Mone and her husband have had £75 million worth of assets frozen or seized following a court order.

The couple is confronted by a National Crime The agency's investigation into alleged fraud has seen assets seized, including a six-bedroom London mansion, Isle of Man estate and 15 bank accounts.

The CPS the order requested on the Tory pear and Douglas Barrowmanher financier husband, under the Proceeds of Crime Act, the Financial Times reported.

The bra magnate has admitted it stood to benefit around £60 million from profits on personal protective equipment sold to the government during the period Covid by a firm headed by him.

Assets may be held for possible confiscation in the event of a conviction.

The charges include conspiracy to commit fraud and bribery, which they deny.

Last month, Michelle faced calls for her to be deported from the House of Lords after admitting she had lied about the huge profits she could make from a controversial Covid contract.

In an interview with the BBC, the couple apologized for denying their role in the deal, but insisted they have “no business to answer”.

After minister Lord Callanan told Sky News he expects Mone will not return to the House of Representatives, Labor MP Sir Chris Bryant responded on social media: “Wrong. She should never have been put there in the first place. And now she should be deported.”
