THERE has long been a misconception that violence in games can lead to violence in the real world.

However, research has shown that violent video games actually reduce violence in the real world, as people prefer to express their anger in their games.

Fortnite's cartoonish style makes it popular with children.

However, this message did not seem to reach the ears of the British military, which tried to persuade Fortnite players to sign up.

Fortnite is not a particularly violent video game. Although you take out other players, it has a very animated art style.

In the main mode, you play as a colorful character and fight against 99 others to see who is the last one standing.

Although you can use guns, knives and rocket launchers in your attack, it is anything but realistic.

As such, Fortnite is extremely popular among children and young people, with more than 60% of the player base being 24 years old or younger.

This is why people were shocked when the official Army Jobs Twitter account posted that there would be a livestream with two popular streamers to promote their new card.

Yung Filly and Elz The Witch would take part in a competition on an army-style island designed to entice young players.

Players can create custom maps in-game; However, there are certain rules you must adhere to.

As noted by Eurogamerone of the rules reads: “Commercial content and sponsors must follow all of the above content rules and the epic content guidelines, and may not […] promoting enrollment in the military.”

The custom map has not been made live to players and Epic Games has said it is “being moderated.”

The military has since deleted all posts related to the island and the livestream and has not commented on the situation.

The streamers have also deleted their posts and there is no word on whether the livestream will continue.
