THE Met Office is warning of heavy rain and flooding causing travel chaos.
Brits are being told to prepare for three days of devastation as meteorologists issue warnings across the country for the rest of January.
a yellow warning for rain comes into force on Monday and affects the north of England.

Meteorologist Greg Dewhurst said: “There will be outbreaks of heavy rainfall across parts of Wales into the Midlands, northern England, and this will continue for most of the day.
“Maybe some rain in the southern parts as well.
“To the south-east of this it will be generally cloudy, with a few glimmers of sun possible and then plenty of sunshine.
“An icy start in parts of Northern Ireland and Scotland, quite hazy in eastern areas and one or two showers in the western and northern islands.
