Britney Spears Monday night took to Instagram with a vintage shot next to one of her sons, accompanied by a caption apparently describing a hostile encounter with law enforcement.

The Grammy-winning singer, 41, mother of sons Sean, 18, and Jayden, 17, with ex-husband Kevin Federline, 45, shared a grainy throwback image of herself holding one of her sons, who had a pumpkin in his hand .

The photo was taken in a pumpkin patch in Los Angeles in October 2008, the year her former conservatory under her father Jamie Spears began.

The Oops!’

She added, “Is it even allowed to demoralize and talk to a woman while you’re being recorded, mama??” I’m honestly just like America…I DON’T KNOW YOU!!!’

It was not immediately clear whether Spears was talking about a recent incident or one that goes further back in her past, as her story and the image above indicated that her son was much younger at the time.

Spears has had a number of documented conversations with police officers in recent months, as she was stopped at her Southern California home on September 10 and October 6 and received tickets on both occasions.

None of these conversations with police appeared to be argumentative, and neither of her sons were absent on either occasion.

Spears was seen in police bodycam footage obtained by TMZ after a California Highway Patrol officer pulled her over at her home in Thousand Oaks, California, on October 6.

Spears told the officer she urgently needed to use the restroom after the officer told her he saw her cross double lines.

Spears told the officer — the same one who had previously stopped her on September 10 for an alleged speeding ticket — that she urgently needed to relieve herself while she was on her way to her home.

“I’m so sorry, I have to go to the bathroom… it’s about to come out,” she told the officer. “Sorry, my house is over there.”

Spears asked for her driver’s license and registration and said her security team had her passport and driver’s license after she returned from a trip.

The CHP officer told Spears he was not intentionally trying to stop her, but was looking for motorists who were speeding or crossing double yellow lines.

The officer issued the Toxic artist a citation for crossing the double yellow lines and advised her she was free to go and drive safely. Spears was fined $327, payable on November 21 TMZ.

In California, it is illegal to cross solid double yellow lines on the road unless you are turning left at an intersection, entering a private road or driveway, riding in a carpool, or instructed to do so by construction workers.

The violation occurred after Spears was ‘pulled and ticketed’ driving without a driver’s license or proof of insurance in her car by CHP on September 10, just a month after her estranged husband Sam Asghari, 29, filed for divorce, according to court documents obtained by The explosion.

In that conversation, which TMZ posted bodycam footage, the CHP officer told the pop star that she had been clocked driving 60 miles per hour, 33 miles per hour, over the 60 mile per hour speed limit.

The star was initially stopped for speeding in her white Mercedes, and police allege she did not have a “valid driver’s license in her possession” and failed to “provide proof of financial responsibility to a peace officer.”

“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, please forgive me,” the Womanizer singer told the officer, who noted that he had passed the singer over for speeding and “gave [her] a break last time.”

Spears was unable to produce her driver’s license, registration or proof of insurance for the vehicle because she had just returned from overseas and it had been in the possession of her security staff.

The violations earned the entertainer a $1,140 fineonline records show it has since paid off, according to the publication.

Spears was caught driving at an “unsafe speed for the prevailing conditions” and was ticketed for the offense on March 10, 2022.

The charges came months after Spears was advised by doctors to be careful behind the wheel as she reentered the world from a conservatorship that banned her from driving for 13 years.

A source said People in July 2021: ‘Britney is very happy that the conservatory is now allowing her to drive. She is ecstatic and extremely grateful for all the help she is now receiving.”

In recent years, Spears has had incidents where she struggled along the way.

In 2006, prior to her conservatorship, she caused controversy when she was photographed driving with then-five-month-old son Sean Preston on her lap.

After the incident, she apologized, reportedly telling the story Access to Hollywood: ‘I made a mistake and so it is what it is, I guess.’

The following year, Spears was caught running over the toes of a paparazzi in Beverly Hills MTV.

Around the same time in 2007, cameras caught her committing a number of traffic offences, including running red lights, driving while using her phone and making illegal turns.

That same year, ex-husband Kevin Federline also asked a judge to ban Spears from driving their two sons Jayden and Sean, now 17 and 18.

Spears has been in the news lately during the October release of her memoir, The Woman In Me.

The book is packed with surprising revelations that reflect on a life in the spotlight full of ups and downs.

The memoir charts her career as a pop star and the many trials and tribulations of her personal life.

The star delves into her romantic relationships, failed marriages, mental health issues and that conservatorship.

One of the explosive revelations shared ahead of the release is that she had an abortion at the age of 19 after becoming pregnant by her then-boyfriend Justin Timberlake.
