A value retailer is currently selling the fruitier and nuttier trail mix for a fraction of the price of any other supermarket.

One reveler took to a bargain Facebook group to reveal they had already filled their trolley with the fan favorite.

The savvy shopper captioned her post: “Cadbury Trail Mix is ​​just 50p in Poundstretcher… it’s £2 in other supermarkets.”

The post quickly collected dozens of likes and comments from equally enthusiastic chocolate fans.

One Facebook user wrote: “Omg they are so nice.”

A second said: “I’ll have to check out my local pound stretcher.”

A third added: “I love it and think it’s a bargain at 50p.”

A fourth posted: “Two for one £1 in stack it high.”

While countless others simply tagged friends to share the news.

It comes amid news that the Poundstretcher in Chesterfield is preparing to close its doors for the final time on March 16, in a blow to locals.

The staff has launched a closing sale with a 50% discount, reports the Derbyshire Timeswhere shoppers would like to make a bargain.

Posting online, one person said: “It was absolutely manic,” while another added: “Never seen so many people in there.”

A third commented: “He was absolutely rammed,” and a fourth added: “I need to go get some of those bags before he closes.”

Others are devastated that the branch will close for good.

Poundstretcher has closed a number of stores in the past year, but still has about 450 locations.

The discount chain pulled down the shutters on branches in Kilmarnock, Scotland, Romford, Grimsby and Ebbw Vale, Wales.

But it’s not all bad news: the budget retailer has also revealed plans to open a further 50 stores.

Poundstretcher expects the new stores to create 2,000 jobs over the next five years.
