The holidays don't have to cost an arm and a leg, especially if you plan ahead and get the best deals on time.

We have listed the cheapest supermarkets to buy Easter eggs this week

A number of retailers have already started stocking Easter eggs, so you can buy them now and save yourself big later.

From Asda to Sainsbury's, Tesco to Morrisons, here are the cheapest places to buy them this week.

Of course, always look around carefully when you buy something like this, because you might find it cheaper than us.

Websites like Trolley and the Google Shopping tab are two quick ways you can compare prices on thousands of products, like Easter eggs.

Additionally, keep in mind that prices can change from one day to the next and some may be on sale, so you may find the below cheaper or more expensive later in the week.

Asda is the cheapest place we saw this Dairy Milk Twirl Easter egg sold.

The 241g pack comes with an egg inside and also smaller milk chocolate and orange bars.

The retailer is also currently running a promotion where you can buy two of the egg sets for £8, making a saving of £1.

Meanwhile, Morrisons and Tesco are both selling the egg for £5.

Asda is once again the least expensive supermarket to pick up this Dairy Milk egg with a pack of giant buttons inside.

The retailer also has a four for £10 offer, which will save you £2.

Tesco also has the same egg for £3, if that's your favorite supermarket.

You'll want to head to Tesco to pick up this Dairy Milk Freddo egg for £1.20, but that's only if you have a Clubcard.

Otherwise you have to pay €1.50.

It also comes with a selection of Freddo faces for you to enjoy after the egg is done.

Customers of Asda and Sainsbury's can also pick up the egg for £1.25, while in Iceland it costs £1.50.

If you're a fan of a Cadbury Creme Egg, this box set is a no-brainer, and cheapest at Asda, where it costs £4.50.

It comes with a larger dairy egg and two cream eggs inside.

Asda also has a two for £8 offer, saving you £1, while Morrisons and Tesco are the next cheapest supermarkets to buy the box.

Sainsbury's and Asda are the next cheapest places to buy it at £1.25.
