But a famous makeup artist named Shea, who hails from Detroit in the US, has revealed that you don’t have to spend a small fortune to get ‘glass skin’.

In the clip shared on TikTok (@shay.babycosmetics), she begins, “I got tired of having to wear makeup whenever I left the house.

“I really wanted to find something that made my skin look beautiful, brightened it and made it bright.”

She goes on to say that during her search for the perfect product, she came across the beauty hack of using baking soda.

“You can use baking soda as an exfoliator to clean your skin — and not only does it purify your skin, it also gives you glass skin,” she says.

The makeup pro then shares her two-month update before explaining the exact process to follow.

“All you have to do is add some water with the baking soda,” she says.

“Now a lot of people mix a lot of other things and that is certainly possible, but you can also keep it very simple, just add water.

“You want to make it really pasty and then apply it to your skin, but don’t be harsh with it.”

The beauty whiz says to rub it gently into the skin because it is a facial scrub. and recommend applying it at night and making sure you moisturize after using it.”

Shea says you’ll want to get some Vaseline and put it on your face right before bed.

“You will definitely dry out pimples and pimples. If you use baking soda, you will exfoliate your skin. If you use baking soda, you will get rid of the dark spots.

“Baking soda will definitely clean out your pores.”

She continues, “People have been using baking soda for years and they will tell you that it works tremendously.

However, the beauty enthusiast says it’s not for everyone and recommends testing it on a small area of ​​your face, like your chin, to see how it reacts on your skin.

“You only need to leave it on for a minute,” she says.

“Use it two to three times a week — or you can literally do it once a week once a month. You’ll get results right away.”
