Q I've always had good legs, but now that I'm 62, I notice cellulite on the front of my thighs. Will anything help get rid of it?

a The increasingly popular 'skin boosters' that have taken the facial injectables world by storm (Profhilo hydrating and collagen-boosting jabs are one example) have now extended to the body and can improve the appearance of mild cellulite as well as sagging skin.

Cosmetic physician Dr. Pamela Benito (drpamelabenito.com) advocates Sunekos Cell, a “solution of hyaluronic acid and amino acids formulated to help correct the inflammation and tissue thickening that contribute significantly to the lumpy appearance of cellulite.”

Expect the treatment area (for the front thighs, which is quite large) to be riddled with injection marks and small bruises for about a week.

You will need two to three treatments, two to three weeks apart (sunekos.co.uk; a three-session course starts at £850).

I noticed a reduction in my lumps four weeks after the last session. So much so that during my winter holiday I felt completely confident in a bikini for the first time in a while.

Sunekos Body, also available from £850, is similar but designed to be plump and firm, and has helped my crepey knees look toned.
