Chris Hemsworth sparked debate among fans on Sunday after he shared photos of his prized wooden furniture on Instagram.
The Thor star, 40, took to Instagram to promote the work of his furniture designer friend Lee Brennan, uploading several photos of the handmade objects in his $30 million mansion in Broken Head, near Byron Bay.
Chris, his friend and Chris’ wife Elsa Pataky all posed casually next to the furniture, which included a large dining table, a mirror and an arched doorway.
However, fans couldn’t ignore the final photo in the gallery, which showed Chris leaning on the wall with his bare, dirt-covered feet on full display.
“His feet really annoyed me!!!” one user commented, while another added: ‘Look at your feet for God’s sake! [Facepalm emoji]’.

“Clean your feet!” someone else begged, while someone else commented: ‘Your feet are really dirty. Get the floor dirty again, go wash up.’
However, others defended Chris’ dirty display, with one writing: ‘I love how dirty his feet are in the last second.’
Others argued that dirty feet are the norm in Australia, and that overseas fans should not be surprised.

Chris, Elsa and their three children are regularly spotted without shoes while out and about in Byron Bay.
The family has lived in the idyllic celebrity enclave for nine years, after moving from Los Angeles to Australia.

In March 2021, Elsa said the move to Byron Bay had been a blessing for their children.
“Byron has been beautiful,” she said The Sydney Morning Herald.
“We made the right decision to leave LA and come to Australia in 2014. It was great for the kids to be in nature, enjoy animals and go horse riding.”
