Her long, platinum blonde hair was tied back in a chic ponytail and she wore black sunglasses on the sunny summer Saturday.

The Lady Marmalade singer also shared some lovely snaps from her stay in Manhattan with her daughter Summer Rain, nine, on her Instagram Stories.

The Grammy winner was dressed in black leather pants and a cool biker jacket with her long hair flowing down and flowing around her torso.

She accessorized the rockstar chic look with futuristic-looking sunglasses. Her sweet daughter wore pink and blue tie-dye pants and a white top.

The Dirrty singer has always been committed to the LGBTQIA + community.

She accepted the GLAAD Advocate for Change Award in March and gave a moving speech.

“When I look at this audience I see so many familiar faces and beautiful people and I am so proud to be in this room with all of you” People reported.

She continued, “I grew up in this community as most of my lifelong best friends identify as LGBTQ. So much of who I am and what I do is due to each of you, and our shared experience of having to fight for equality and freedom in some capacity.”

“Side by side, we taught and taught each other everything about life, from business to relationships to music, family and parties,” she added with a wink. “I don’t know who does it better.”

Last year she reflected on what that means to her, writing, “Being an LGBTQ+ ally is not something that is short-lived.

‘It’s in my DNA. Over the years, I have raised awareness of HIV and AIDS and helped families of victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting,” she said in an open letter to People.

I also want to mention that my friends in the LGBTQ+ community have helped me in ways I will never forget. They have given me the freedom to be myself and share my deepest, darkest secrets with them,” she said.

And it’s not just talk for Xtina. She put her money, her star power, her heart and her soul into being there and raising LGBTQIA+ voices.

In 2002, she dedicated her song Beautiful to the community and the song’s music video won her a GLAAD Media Award for its positive portrayal of gay and transgender people.

She said at the time that Beautiful is dedicated to “anyone who has been discriminated against or not accepted, not valued or disrespected just because of who they are.”

In 2004, the mother of one lent her face to the 10th anniversary campaign for MAC’s AIDS fund.

“People think it can’t happen to them or it only happens to a certain stereotype or gender, but it can affect anyone’s life,” she said in an interview to promote the campaign.

She also spoke out against California’s Prop 8 in 2008, which attempted to limit marriage to only between a man and a woman.

Why would you put so much money into something? [aimed at] prevent people from loving each other? I just don’t understand,” she said MTV news at the time.

In 2016, she dedicated her song Change to the victims and survivors of the Orlando Pulse Nightclub mass shooting that killed 49 people—mostly gay and Hispanic.

“The horrific tragedy that unfolded in Orlando continues to weigh heavily on my mind,” she wrote per E! News. “We all have a choice to spread love, encourage individuality and make a difference to others – we are all in this together, as one, united in love.”
