Clara and her husband, Hugo Dancy, have been married for 13 years and share two sons – Cyrus Michael Christopher, 10, and Rowan, four. Claire and Hugh met on the set of Lajos Koltai’s Evening in 2006, portraying love interests.

During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Claire revealed how her sons reacted when they found out she was pregnant.

The My So-Called Life alum said her oldest son Cyrus had a nice suggestion: “If it comes out of your belly, we’ll give it to a family that doesn’t have a baby, because we’re done.”

The Fleishman is in Trouble star was able to convince Rowan by explaining his future role as big brother.

“He wasn’t exactly thrilled, but then we talked about when the baby comes out, it’s going to be pretty dumb [and] don’t know much [and will] need help and some education.”

Danes debuted her little bump at the 80th Golden Globes in January, where she revealed her third pregnancy was “not as expected.”

“Mommy mode is fine. This one was – not so expected – but we are very happy, and here we go!’ Claire said ETby Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner.

Claire was nominated as Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series for her role as Rachel Fleishman in Fleishman Is in Trouble, but lost out to Jennifer Coolidge of The White Lotus.

Since wrapping the hit spy thriller series Homeland in 2020, Danes continued with television work starring alongside Tom Hiddleston in The Essex Serpent, which premiered on Apple TV+ in May 2022.

The Gothic romance drama miniseries told the story of London widow Cora Seaborne (Danes), who moves to Essex to investigate reports of a mythical serpent. She forms a surprising bond of science and skepticism with the local pastor (Hiddleston), but the locals accuse her of attracting the creature when disaster strikes.

From there, Danes began working on Fleishman Is In Trouble, based on the 2019 novel of the same name, with co-stars Lizzy Kaplan and Jesse Eisenberg.

The storyline focuses on Toby Fleishman, a recently divorced man in his 40s who is immersed in the app-based dating world. But while he achieves successes never seen in his youth, his ex-wife Rachel (Danes) disappears without a trace, leaving only his children behind.
