When he is washing, he lathers his clothes with shower gel and washes them along his body.

Greg has a bucket in the shower, which he uses to catch all the excess water from his soaking wet clothes.

Then, at the end of the week, when he's ready to flush the toilet (yes, he only flushes it once a week), he pours the bucket down the toilet, and this acts as a flush.

“This way I don't waste water,” the extreme budgeter told TLC.

Showering with clothes on isn't the only thing Greg does to save money, he also drinks from yogurt pots instead of glasses and uses an old newspaper to wipe his butt.

“You might get some ink on your butt, but no one will see it,” he said.

He also uses paper plates given to him on his cousin's birthday to eat his dinner.

Greg doesn't use the dishwasher because he says it costs too much money, opting to wash his yogurt pots and paper plates by hand.

Gregg used one of the trails to buy a new car.

“I had to put ointment on my butt, but it was worth it to get a car out of it,” he said.
