A fan went into labor on Friday evening during the first night of Pink's Australian Summer Carnival tour in Sydney.

The 44-year-old pop star had just finished performing a ballad when she discovered the concertgoer had been escorted from the venue after she went into labor.

“Is it the birth of Alicia or Alex?” Pink asked the crowd at the sold-out Allianz Stadium show.

“I feel like we shouldn't be watching,” she joked, before adding, “Y'all give her her privacy!”

She continued, “She didn't just have the baby, right? Is the baby here? No? Okay.'

The Family Portrait singer then congratulated the new mother from the stage before joking about how one of her ballads had caused the birth.

“Wow, “Our Song,” that was the one that did it. I wouldn't have called them! I thought it might have been 'Get The Party Started' or 'Never Not Gonna Dance Again'.

'That is exciting. I don't even know what to say. But we have to sing now. Good luck! It will be great! You're going to do great,” she said, before continuing with the show.

Since their arrival, the family have been discovering the sights along Bondi Beach, with Pink sharing fun snaps of their antics on Instagram.

'Bondi Beach, it's been too long!!!!!!!!' she wrote on Monday. 'Bills was lovely too. Soooooooo happy to be back on this side of the world!

'Thank you, beautiful Australia, for being our home away from home. Children are enthusiastic.'
