I have had acne for 15 years, and thankfully the options for treating and treating it have improved since I was first diagnosed.

This week I put three cult concealers to the test to see which one is the best for concealing blemishes.

The coverage is phenomenal, but this choice only lasts for about half a day

ELF Moisturizing Camo Concealer (£7 for boots.com 6ml): I haven’t tried an ELF product yet that I didn’t like, so my expectations were high here.

The coverage is phenomenal so it covers redness with ease and a little goes a long way.

I accidentally applied way too much on my first try, as the large doe foot stick is worth at least two applications to the entire face.

Unfortunately, despite the high coverage, it only lasts about half a day, so I usually use it when I don’t mind it wearing out and go for a longer-wear option when I want the assurance of knowing what my spots are. are covered.

KYLIE COSMETICS Power Plush Liquid Concealer, (£20 for 5ml, boots.com): Kylie Cosmetics is best known for its lip products, so I wasn’t sure what to expect from this concealer, having never tried any of the brand’s basic offerings before.

The coverage is medium, which in my opinion was not nearly enough to cover my redness even after applying a few coats.

The formula is super creamy and easy to blend, but this does mean it doesn’t last all day and can quickly look greasy.

After trying it on my dark circles, it is definitely better for brightening them than covering blemishes.

Luxury

This is head and shoulders above all when it comes to covering redness and pigment spots

SANDLASS Vanish Airbrush Concealer (£35 for 6ML, cultbeauty.co.uk): I hate to say it, but this concealer is head and shoulders above anything else I’ve ever tried when it comes to concealing redness and pigmentation.

It’s slightly drying so not ideal for under eyes unless paired with a hydrating primer, but the coverage is second to none.

The staying power is just as good. Even with an angry, red cystic breakout, I can apply one dot in the morning and it’s still covered by the end of the day.

If you suffer from acne then it is well worth the investment as nothing else compares to it.

At this point, I would do just about anything to go on vacation.

Sadly it’s not on the menu, but Jo Loves With Love From Positano Fragrance, £135 for 100ml, which launched this week, is seriously helping my itchy feet.

It is bright, warm and elegant, with notes of calming orange oil, spicy bergamot and warming star anise. I can almost feel the sand on my feet.
