‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 32: Everything you need to know

Dancing with the stars Season 32 is getting closer and closer – and the stars are getting equally excited about their return to the ballroom.

“I really enjoy it when they make the announcement, I like to experience it myself. I’m like ‘Oh yeah, let’s see’ right Derek Hough told exclusively Us weekly in April 2023 from the cast list, noting that he is reluctant to find out who will compete before the official reveal. “It’s always one of those things where you think, ‘How do they keep doing it? How do we keep coming back?’ Each season seems bigger and better than ever. The cast is always fantastic and even the people you like are like, ‘Who is that?’ They end up being your favorite person. It’s a great show.”

Nearly three months later, the six-time mirrorball champion helped publicize that Ariana Madix will be one of the season’s 32 contestants.

“What a coincidence Dans ran into our newest celebrity for @dancingwiththestars,” anyway caption July 2023 Instagram video of himself walking into Madix’s Something About Her sandwich shop. “Who’s ready to see @arianamadix hit the iconic Ballroom floor this fall?”

Madix – who co-owns the restaurant in LA Vanderpump Rules Co-star Katie Maloneywhich later opens this summer – will be the second Pump Regulations star to tackle the ballroom competition. Lisa Vanderpump previously appeared in season 16 with pro partner Gleb Savchenkofinished in 10th place.

Who Hosts ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season 32?

Alfonso Ribeiroa former DWTS champion, returns as one of the show’s emcees. While he was previously next to host Tyra Banks last season he was joined by former pro Julianne Hough for season 32.

“It’s such an honor to be back Dancing with the stars as co-host. The show holds such a special place in my heart from the many years and various roles I’ve had the privilege of being a part of,” Julianne said in a March 2023 statement. ballroom to life has been my family for 17 years.”

Which ‘Dancing With The Stars’ judges are returning?

After Season 31, longtime Chief Judge Len Goodman announced his retirement. Derek confirmed that Us in April 2023 that the production would not replace Goodman, who died later that month at age 78.

‘I think this is going to be it. I think [they are] kind of realizing that three is the right number,” Derek shared exclusively Usreferring to himself, Carrie Ann Inaba And Bruno Tonioli. “And what’s good about three is that there is also room for guest judges. We did Michael Buble last season, only five judges – that’s a lot. I was like, ‘We’re good.’ I think there is much more flexibility in that.”

Has the Cast Been Announced for ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season 32?

While Derek announced in July 2023 that Madix will be one of the celebrities competing for the mirrorball in Season 32, the rest of the cast has yet to be confirmed.

The full lineup will be revealed on Good morning America on Thursday, September 13, 2023.

Which ‘Dancing With The Stars’ pros are returning?

Val Chmerkovsky exclusively revealed to Us in May 2023 that both he and wife Jenna Johnson — who sat out last season during her pregnancy with son Rome — would both be back in the ballroom.

“I’m really excited. I had a great season 31, so hopefully I could seize the momentum in season 32,” he ignited. “Jen, you know, I scared away my biggest competition by getting her pregnant. I don’t know if I could do it two seasons in a row, but she’s so inspired and she longs to get on again Dancing with the starsso I’m excited to see what she makes next season.

While the rest of the professional lineup is also unknown, reigning champion Mark Ballas — whose wife, BC Jeanis currently pregnant with their first baby – announced his retirement after the 2022 finals.

When Does ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season 32 Premiere?

DWTS returns to TV Monday night at 8 p.m. ET, but an exact date has yet to be announced.

How to watch ‘Dancing With The Stars’ season 32

For the first time, DWTS will air simultaneously live on both ABC and Disney+ after moving from its old broadcast base, ABC, to the streaming platform last season. Each episode will be available to stream on Hulu on Tuesdays.
