David Lynch’s wife Emily Stofle has filed for divorce after fourteen years of marriage.
The 77-year-old estranged husband of the Twin Peaks director, 45, is asking for sole legal and physical custody of their 11-year-old daughter, Lula Boginia Lynch, according to TMZ.
Stofle – who married the legendary filmmaker in 2009 – is also seeking spousal support and attorney fees.
According to the publication, there is no evidence that the duo signed a prenup before tying the knot.
Stofle appeared in Lynch’s 2006 film Inland Empire and in the 2017 revival of Twin Peaks.

She gave birth to the couple’s first and only child together in 2012, when Lynch was 66.
This is Lynch’s fourth marriage. She was previously married to Mary Sweeney from 2006 to 2007, Mary Fisk from 1977 to 1987, and Peggy Lynch from 1967 to 1974.
Lula is the fourth child of the acclaimed director.
He shares daughter Jennifer, who is also a director, with first wife Peggy.
He also shares son Austin with second wife Mary, and son Riley with third wife Mary Sweeney.
