‘Deal or No Deal Island’: NBC show building, rules and more details

The iconic game show, Deal or no dealgets a tropical makeover.

NBC announced in 2023 that a new series would appear Deal or No Deal Island was in the works, and it looks nothing like its original counterpart. According to the show’s description, audiences are transported to the infamous banker’s private island, where more than 100 metal briefcases are scattered throughout. Each case is worth a different amount, but the total value of the cases is worth more than $200 million.

In the first season, thirteen people will compete in the hope of being the last one standing and taking home the Banker’s Prize. In each episode, the contestants face a series of challenges to secure the suitcases. After each match, the suitcases selected in the challenge are used in the evening game Deal or no deal. The player who scores the largest prize in the challenge will receive immunity and select a fellow competitor to enter ‘The Temple’.

The chosen participant will play Deal or no deal. If they make a bad deal, they are sent home. If fortune rules in their favor, they get to decide who will be eliminated that night.

Is Howie Mandel involved?

While Mandel presented the original Deal or no deal, he will not host the series. However, he is one of the show’s producers.

What is the role of the banker?

The banker was best known for brokering deals on the original game show. On Deal or No Deal Islandthe banker will keep an eye on the competitors and raise the stakes with ‘tests of strategy and greed’. Models Ben Crofchick And Kamari Love will serve as assistants to the banker on the island.

Who is the host of ‘Deal or No Deal Island’?

NBC announced this in September 2023 Joe Manganiello would run the show.

Who is participating in ‘Deal or No Deal Island’?

Among the thirteen participants, two well-known faces will play the game. Survivor alum Boston Rob Mariano and former Deal or no deal model and Real Housewives alum Claudia Jordaan have a chance to take home the cash prize.

The other players include Dawson Addis, Aron Barbell, Jordan Fowler, Nick Grasso, Miranda Harrison, Alyssa Klinzing, Kim Mattina, Amy McCoy, Dr. Stephanie Mitchell, Jamil Sipes And Brantzen Wong.

When will ‘Deal or No Deal Island’ premiere?

Deal or No Deal Islandd premieres February 26 at 9:30 PM ET/PT on NBC. A special 30-minute preview will air after the NFL wild card game on January 13.

Where can viewers watch ‘Deal or No Deal Island’?

After the premiere, Deal or No Deal Island will move to its regular Monday timeslot on NBC at 10 p.m. Episodes will be available to stream on Peacock the next day.
