She hands out luscious hair tips on the platform and her 369,000 followers lap it up.
There’s no need to spend a lot of money on her hair hacks because she said they cost $0.
She has even written a book about her hair knowledge, The Long Hair Handbook, a guide to long and healthy hair.
In this aftershe showed viewers that they could get glorious manes too.

At the top of her list was a method called “hair dusting.”
It is also known as ‘surface cutting’ and targets split ends.

“We have thousands of hair leaks and these could potentially have split ends,” she said.
Tips for Luscious Hair That Cost $0
TikTok user Kamilla has waist-length hair that is glossy, shiny and healthy. It is her crowning achievement. She shared her tips for a beautiful mane that costs nothing.
Kamilla’s tips for healthy hair:
- Dust hair – cut away split ends
- When sitting against a surface, bring your hair forward
- Only condition your goals
- Squeeze out excess water before conditioning
- Detangle before washing
- Sleep in a protective capsule
- Reduce the heat settings
- Use emulsified shampoo, i.e. mix your shampoo with water
“That’s why when you cut at your hemline, sometimes you don’t feel a big difference other than a loss of length, because split ends can be anywhere,” she added.
For this job she used special hair scissors.
“See which ones look damaged and cut them off,” she said.
“Start at the back and work forward.”
Some viewers who were concerned about dusting would thin out the hair.
“It doesn’t thin the hair because you’re only cutting off the damaged ends,” she wrote.
One commenter said she had another hack that helps with dusting hair.
“If you do this while sitting in the sun, it’s so much easier to see,” she said.
