New Delhi: Cricket Brotherhood, including Indian pacer Mohammed Shami and Pakistani team captain Babar Azam, expressed their wishes on their social media accounts on the occasion of Eid Al Adha on Thursday, June 29. In 2023, Eid al-Adha will be celebrated worldwide between Wednesday evening (June 28) and Thursday morning (June 29). It is the largest of Islam’s two major festivals and Eid al-Adha is a festival of sacrifice.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the schedule of the cricket tournament aka the 2023 ICC ODI World Cup at an event in Mumbai with the Board Of Cricket Control Of India (BCCI) on Tuesday 27 June. The schedule for the last two editions of the tournament, 2015 and 2019, was set more than a year in advance. The release of the schedule was delayed by less than three months until the start of the cricket tournament. Host India, which last won the ODI World Cup in 2011, plays its league matches in nine cities, including Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Bengaluru. India will take on Pakistan at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on October 15.
The 2023 Asia Cup will be held in the 50-over format in connection with the 2023 World Cup. With Pakistan and Sri Lanka co-hosting it. The tournament starts on August 31 and ends on September 17. Pakistan is hosting the Asia Cup for the first time in 15 years. Although the luminaires have not yet been officially announced. While Pakistan will host four matches, the tournament will move to Sri Lanka, where the remaining matches will be played.
