This year's event, which takes place on Sunday, February 11, will be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Guard will headline the iconic Apple Music Halftime Show, promising that R&B music will “take the main stage.”
Usher teased star collaborations in his January 2024 release Fashion digital cover, but also lots of fantastic choreographies, costume changes and other surprises. The halftime artist of 2023, Rihanna, rocked the stage with performances of her classics like “Work” and “Diamonds.” She wore a form-fitting red jumpsuit that showed off her growing pregnancy bump during the 13-minute show, which revealed she and A$AP Rocky were expecting baby No. 2.
Rihanna later revealed that the pregnancy announcement shouldn't have happened that way. “Here's the thing. I did what I had to do, right? My sweater wouldn't zip up,” Rihanna said Access to Hollywood in December 2023. “Nobody knew I was pregnant. I just told my hairdresser, 'Make sure it's stretchy.' So the underwear was stretchy and this [jacket] was baggy, but you know, the zipper. It just stopped there! So it had to be what it had to be.”
