The 66th annual Grammy Awards will present trophies to music's biggest stars on Sunday, February 4, 2024.

The nominations for the awards ceremony were announced in November 2023, with rapper SZA leads the pack by nine nods. Phoebe Bridgers, Serbian Ghenea And Victoria Monet they all follow closely with seven each. Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Jon Batiste, Jack AntonoffBoygenius and Brandy ClarkMeanwhile, they all scored six nominations each.

“Because I am overwhelmed by it and it brings me a lot [sic] fear to think of words…but I'm very grateful and very shocked,” SZA wrote via X (formerly Twitter) after the nominations were announced. “And I wish my grandmother was here to join me again.”

SZA invited her grandmother as her date to the 2018 Grammys, when she was nominated (and performed) for the first time.

When are the 2024 Grammys?

The Grammys will take place on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The show starts at 8:00 PM ET and runs until 11:30 PM

Who will host the 2024 Grammys?

Trevor Noah will host the ceremony for the fourth year in a row.

“I'm excited about that, yeah, it's a lot of fun,” Noah said on his “What Now?” podcast in December 2023. “I enjoy the Grammys because I get to watch the show in person and then experience it in person and comment on it as it's happening.”

Who will perform at the 2024 Grammys?

It wouldn't be 'music's biggest night' without some stellar performances from music's biggest stars. Billie Eilish, nominated for six Grammys (including Song and Record of the Year), will perform at the ceremony on February 4. Other artists include Dua Lipa (who is up for two Grammys) and Olivia Rodrigo (nominated for five, including Album of the Year for Guts).

On January 21, the Academy announced the next set of artists. Travis Scottwhose Utopia is nominated for Best Rap Album, will take the stage. Lucas Combs, whose version of Tracy Chapman'Fast Car' was nominated for Best Country Solo Performance and is also scheduled to play music's biggest night. Plus, Burna boy becomes the first Afro-fusion artist to perform at the Grammys. He is competing for four awards, including Best Global Music Album and Best Melodic Rap Performance.

The Academy also announced this on January 28 Joni Mitchellwhich is nominated for Best Folk Album for Joni Mitchell in Nieuwpoort, will perform during the show. This marks her first-ever Grammy performance.

What are the new Grammys categories?

The 2024 Grammys introduced a series of new categories, including Best African Music Performance, Best Alternative Jazz Album and Best Pop Dance Recording. In addition, the trophies for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical and Songwriter of the Year, Non-Classical will be moved to the general field.
