Smoking fans claim FA Cup quarter-final draw ‘rigged’ as horror draw ensues
NEWCASTLE fans are convinced the draw for the FA Cup quarter-finals has been rigged after being handed a horror draw.
Eddie Howe’s team was drawn to defending champion Manchester City in the last eight.
The two teams met earlier this season in the third round of the Carabao Cup.

Meanwhile, someone else commented: “City again hahaha rigged draw.”
In addition to their third round clash with City, Newcastle also faced Manchester United and Chelsea on their way to the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup.
The Magpies have also faced bitter rivals Sunderland in a Tyne-Wear derby earlier in their FA Cup campaign.
Meanwhile, they created a ‘group of death’ alongside Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan on their return to the Champions League.

Newcastle booked their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Tuesday by beating Blackburn on penalties in the fifth round.
The Toon Army will aim to reach a first semi-final since 2005 when they meet next month.
Elsewhere in the draw, Wolves or Brighton play host to Coventry, Leicester visit Chelsea or Leeds and Nottingham Forest or Manchester United take on Liverpool or Southampton.
The quarter-finals will be played on the weekend of March 16 and 17.
