A flight attendant has revealed her top four tips to ensure your holiday gets off to a smooth start.

TikToker Caroline, from Fort Lauderdale, Floridawho goes by the name @xoblondevoyage, revealed to her followers exactly what to do when traveling, especially in the run-up to summer.

These include booking your flights early, the optimal time to get to the airport and why you shouldn't panic if you see condensation on your plane windows.

Caroline, the Florida flight attendant, warned that airports are starting to get hectic as early as mid-June and advised customers to take at least two hours between flights

1. LEAVE MORE THAN 2 HOURS BETWEEN FLIGHTS

Jumping from one plane and racing to the gate of the next can be a very stressful experience, to say the least.

Therefore, the flight attendant recommends that you allow enough time to get from one flight to another.

She said: 'If you book a connecting flight, make sure you have at least two hours between flights.'

She revealed how often third-party websites only give travelers 30 minutes between flights, explaining that this is 'not enough time'.

She added, “Even an hour is just not enough time these days.

“You don't want to be stressed and rush from your flight and not make the next flight and then the next flight is oversold.”

She urged her followers to give themselves at least two hours between one flight and the next.

2. BOOK AN EARLY FLIGHT

Perhaps unwelcome advice for those who like an extra five minutes in bed, but Caroline suggested that flying earlier will make your journey easier.

She joked, “I know you don't want to wake up at three in the morning to catch a five o'clock flight.”

“But I promise you, the sooner you run, the smoother everything will go.”

Caroline explained that the sooner you leave, the more time you have to prepare if something goes wrong – so you can be sure of arriving at your destination no matter what.

The flight attendant also advised customers to book the earliest flight possible as this will make their journey a lot smoother

3. DOWNLOAD THE CITY APP

Installing additional apps may seem like a chore, but the Floridian assures viewers that it will make the traveling process easier.

She instructed, “Download the app of whatever airline you're flying on.”

Caroline explained how useful these applications are, explaining that this not only means having your boarding pass at hand, but you can even track your checked luggage.

She added: 'You can find out if there are any delays and get information about your connecting flight and which gate it is at. There's just so much information about them.”

Caroline added that you should download the app from whichever airline you use.

She joked, “It will help you a lot when you're traveling through the airport.”

4. DON'T PANIC ABOUT THE CONDENSATION

In another clip, giving her advice to less experienced travelers, Caroline urged them not to panic about the smoke.

As you fly, there may not be the slightest bit of 'smoke' from the main panel above.

However, she explained that this is completely normal to see when flying in the air.

“I get asked this every time it happens,” she wrote, revealing: “This isn't smoke, it's condensation, it's normal.”
