Many have also started spreading theories about the drowning child in the flashes.

“So a drowning on the beach, maybe it was just an accident, a tragic accident,” one suggested. “It was Emily’s brother who died.”

“Or it was Laura’s brother and Laura witnessed the murder,” another said. And Emily’s relative was the killer and Laura’s key piece of information put the killer away. So now Emily wants revenge.”

Elsewhere, a third person posted that Laura is in the witness protection program for something that happened when she was a kid – “judging by the flashbacks” – and Emily “is part of that or somehow knew about it and is looking to revenge. ‘.

Jo and Rachel’s performances were also highlighted, with viewers praising the women’s acting and character chemistry.

“Making friends when you’re an adult is impossible,” Laura says in the trailer for the drama thriller on Channel 5’s social media.

“So if someone comes into your life that makes you feel a little free, you take it.”

“You have a great life, don’t you Laura,” Emily says in the next shot. “I’d hate to see you throw it all away for a moment of madness.”

Ominous scenes also show Emily breaking a mirror and Laura being watched terrifyingly as she sleeps.
