FRIENDS have shared a photo of the loving mother and daughters left injured by a terrifying chemical attack – as they try to “rebuild their lives”.

The woman, 31, who remains sedated seven days after the horror in Clapham, is still too ill to speak to police as she is going blind in her right eye.

Police yesterday revealed fugitive Abdul Ezedi, 35, enticed the mother to meet him before dumping chemicals on her after their relationship “cracked up”.

Ezedi would have done that too doused her two young daughtersthree and eight, with the corrosive liquid.

Shocked neighbors watched as a sick and twisted Ezedi knocked one of the girls, who was wearing her school uniform, to the ground.

As the manhunt for Ezedi enters its eighth day, close friends of the 'amazing family' have launched a campaign. GoFundMe to ensure a “safe future” for them.

An edited photo of the mother and her two daughters cuddled together was shared in the hope of raising £50,000.

A statement on the page reads: “Our very dear friend, a generous, sweet, loving mother and her two small daughters were recently victims of a brutal murder. chemical attack in Clapham.

“This attack has changed the lives of this beautiful little family forever.

'At what is clearly a shocking and terrible time, we simply hope that their traumatic burden is not increased by financial concerns.

“We desperately want them to have a secure future with the things they need to rebuild their lives and recover from this most horrific attack.

'Anything you can spare to help will be very gratefully received.

“Finally a thank you to the neighbors on Lessar Avenue.

'We are overwhelmed by your courage and kindness and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did to save our friend and her daughters.

Another close friend added: “Our friend is, first and foremost, a devoted and loving mother.

'Her children are her life. She is generous and a wonderful cook and host.

“All she has ever wanted is a safe home for her and her beautiful, sweet little girls.”

The Met announced yesterday that Ezedi is now wanted for attempted murder due to the severity of his victim's injuries.

They also revealed chilling further details a week after the horror as the massive manhunt continues.

The suspect arranged a meeting with the mother after tracking the victim to the two-star Clapham South Belvedere Hotel.

He then attacked her and her daughters in their car, police said.

Commander Jon Savell also said there was a “very strong indication” the pair were in a relationship, which had since “broke up”.

The Met has also released new CCTV footage of Ezedi, which shows him walking near and along Westminster Bridge on January 31.

It means the wanted man would have been within a few hundred yards of the Met's headquarters in New Scotland Yard.

He was last seen crossing Vauxhall Bridge at 11pm and then walking along the river on the night of the horror.

A total of twelve people were injured the attack – including the 31-year-old mother and her daughters.

Ezedi, meanwhile, could die if his own “very serious” injuries go untreated after the fugitive melted his face during the attack, the Met said.

The police believe that people who know where Ezedi is have not come forward. Anyone who helps him is arrested.

The Met has shared the fugitive's details with all UK police forces and ports and is offering a £20,000 reward leading to his arrest.

Speaking about where Ezedi could have disappeared to, Commander Savell said: “He could have gone north, he could have gone east, south, west or he could have gone abroad.”

The officer also revealed that the suspect may have been in the River Thames, but there is no evidence to support this.

Agents of the National Crime Agency, nicknamed “Britain's FBI“, were called in for the manhunt last night.

Searches have taken place at two homes in east London and three in Newcastle.

Police released images of officers entering a home in the city over the weekend where empty containers with caustic warnings on the labels were found.

A 22-year-old man was arrested on Monday on suspicion of assisting an perpetrator.

He was taken into custody and later released on bail while investigations continued.

Police say forensic tests are “currently underway” to see if the containers contained the substance used in the attack.

They are too encouraging people not to approach “dangerous” fugitive Ezedi.

The hunt continues

Now that has been proven Ezedi arrived in Britain in a truck and could not file a claim asylum.

However, he subsequently converted Christianity and was accepted on his third attempt with a priest as character witness.

Ezedi pleaded guilty to one charge of sexual assault and one charge of indecent exposure before being granted asylum Crown prosecutor has confirmed.

He was sentenced at Newcastle Crown Court on January 9, 2018 to a nine-week prison sentence, suspended for two years, for the assault.

He was given a 36-week prison sentence for the exposure, which was also suspended for two years.

The church has since said: “We are aware of the relationship that Abdul Shakoor Ezedi has had with our church.

“As soon as we became aware of the current situation, we contacted and are cooperating with the relevant authorities. We pray for everyone affected by the situation.”
