Jamie Lomas has revealed he hasn’t seen his son Billy in six years as he posted a heartbreaking message hoping he would see it on Instagram.
The Hollyoaks actor, 48, best known for his role as Warren Fox, shared a heartbreaking tribute to Billy on Saturday to mark his 18th birthday with throwback photos of Jamie and Billy at football matches together.
While it is unknown why Jamie hasn’t seen son Billy in six years, the actor shared that he “hopes they will be reunited one day.”
Jamie shares son Billy and also daughter Polly, 12, with former Coronation Street star and ex-wife Kym Marsh.
He captioned his post with a montage of old photos, writing, “To my first born Billy. Happy 18th birthday son. Unfortunately, it’s been 6 years since I’ve seen you.

‘But not a day goes by that I don’t think of you and look back on our wonderful times together. I miss you every day and I love you with everything I have.
“I hope with all my heart that you get to see this and that one day we will be reunited again. I hope you have a wonderful birthday son and have a wonderful time whatever you do, and know that I will be thinking of you and that your family misses you.”
He added: “A big shout out to all the dads who are struggling because they can’t see their kids. I UNDERSTAND YOUR PAIN!!!’
His co-star Gary Lucy shared his support with a heartfelt comment under Jamie’s post.
Gary wrote: ‘I have to write this part 2 for you Jamie… I know how much this hurts you. I pray that this heartbreaking situation somehow improves for both of you sooner or later.
“I feel your pain brother and for what it’s worth…I love and appreciate you more than you will ever know…
“Everything you did for me, my brother, checking in / those little texts / listening / reasoning / advising and most of all, giving me strength when I hesitated, I will never forget. Be strong, love you’.
Kym, who is currently married to her third husband Scott Ratcliff, has that too children David, 26, and Emilie, 24, with ex-partner Jack Cunliffe.

Billy is not seen on Kym’s social media, despite her daughter Polly posting regularly.
Jamie recently got engaged to dentist girlfriend Jess Bell after two years together.
He announced the happy news by calling OK! Magazine: ‘I’ve been planning it for a while and I wanted it to be perfect.’
He explained: ‘We had been to Lake Como a few weeks earlier, but we both love Mexico and I thought, ‘What could be better than at our favorite restaurant in our favorite resort in our favorite country?’
“Before I knew it, there was a ring and everyone was clapping and cheering. It was amazing; so amazing and so emotional,” says Jess, 34.
