A woman has revealed how she made a DIY swimming pool in her garden from a recycled cow bath for just £300 – despite trolls claiming it looks like a ‘dog bath’.
Zoe Hellewell, 34, from London, took to her TikTok @zoelondondj to show off its heated mini pool earlier this month.
The social media star – who works as a DJ – revealed she had “zero regrets” while enjoying the underground pool.
In addition to her DIY pool, Zoe has made her own chic sitting area out of a decking.
Her video — which has been viewed more than 50,000 times — was captioned, “No regrets at all. this too is a recycled cow tank, it has a lid, it’s been cleaned with pool cleaner like any pool, it costs £300 and it’s warmed up.’

The clip read: “If I’m told it’s a ‘bad idea’ to install a swimming pool in my garden in the UK then there’s a heat wave.”
In her video, Zoe showed off her beautiful garden – complete with modern decking, a corner coach and a stylish parasol.
Later, the bikini-donning DJ joined the pool with a trending social media audio that says, “I’m José Mourinho.”
Many rushed to the comments to leave their own thoughts – some wondering how she did it.
One person gushed, “This is unbelievable. How do you clean it? Take notes.’
In response, Zoe said, ‘We use the same cleaning chemicals as a normal pool and regularly test it with pool test strips to make sure it’s clean!
“Because it’s small, we also deflate it and refill it when we know we won’t be using it for a while too!”
Another shocked person simply wrote, “How?!”

Zoe explained, “It’s a recycled cow box.
‘We dug a hole in the ground and had the decking built around it!
‘We keep it exactly as clean as any other pool, only smaller!’
Another jokes: ‘A swimming pool? It’s a dog bath at best.”
Zoe hit back at trolls and replied, “No, it’s a pool, six people fit in it.”
