I gave my bathroom a chic update with cheap rent-friendly items from Amazon

An influencer gave her bathroom a chic update with cheap rent-friendly items from Amazon.

Maddie Borge, who lives in London, took to her YouTube channel @Macerly to show the transformation by using a few affordable items.

The video, which has been viewed 3.5 million times, was shared with her 800,000 YouTube followers.

She began the clip by saying, “I’m redecorating my bathroom this week with renter-friendly changes, and yesterday we updated the shower cart and product situation.”

“But I’m still not happy with the way the shower room looks. For some reason the shower has a different tile than the bathroom, and I can’t cover it because these tiles are so small and uneven.

But after noticing textured glass on her window that prevents people from seeing in, she got an idea.

“So I thought I might as well replicate it to hide the tiles with a removable film,” she explained.

She then put the film on the glass with water and a squeegee to remove any air bubbles to create a look that matched her windows.

“This stuff was actually surprisingly easy to apply, I just added some water and stuck it right on the glass,” she explained.

“The film was much clearer than the windows so I thought, I’m going to wash them and see what would happen and I think they haven’t been cleaned in a while.

She continued, “I’ve added some more products and towels for our guests, I also run downstairs every night for filtered water.”

“So I added my decanter, and the bathroom looks great, but it’s still neutral, so I thought I’d add some color.”

In a follow-up video, the content creator added a blue box to store her products and a matching towel for the bathroom.
