It may be cold right now, but I’m so tired of wearing boots everywhere. So I started looking for a good alternative, and for me that means the perfect entry-level shoe. I want them to be effortless to put on, so I want to open the door and go outside in the freezing weather. But I don’t want my feet to get too warm, and sometimes boots feel a little too dressy for what I’m doing that day.

The Ilse Jacobsen slip-on shoes has changed my life in the sense that I look forward to getting dressed for the day, cold weather or otherwise! The perforated upper looks super stylish and keeps my feet nice and cool. My feet tend to get too hot, like I said, but these don’t make it a problem. I can run errands for hours and my feet still feel fresh, something you appreciate and don’t even realize even in winter.
They are surprisingly lightweight. The soft footbed feels like you’re walking on clouds. No pinching, rubbing or painful feet after prolonged wear. I’ll give it to them, the comfort level is top notch. I have to admit that since I got these shoes, they have become my new favorite pair. They’re so easy to put on and wear all day without any discomfort, and they come in lots of colors so I can buy multiple pairs and pair them with different outfits.
Of course the color choice is fantastic. You have black, sunny orange, clear, deep green, neon yellow and more. They add a nice pop of color to all my outfits. The versatile shades make them so easy to coordinate. I choose black to keep the hygiene factor high, but there is a shoe for every occasion.

Reviewers love these airy shoes as much as I do, with one buyer claiming he was ‘obsessed’ with them: ‘I’m kind of addicted to them. I travel a lot and I travel light. I can pack a pair of these shoes and they are suitable for most activities, don’t add weight or take up much space. I have had plantar fasciitis in the past and although these are described as having moderate arch support, I have worn them for 12 hours a day for several days in a row with no problems.
