Joel Dommett has landed a major role as host for a new game show on Netflix.
The new signing means the TV presenter, 38, has hit the TV big time as he presents BBC1’s Saturday night show Survivor and ITV1’s The Masked Singer.

Joel has been a TV hit lately as his fans appreciate the contrasting roles he plays on his two current shows.
He goes from smart and feisty on The Masked Singer to rough and ready on Survivor.
Survivor is a British reboot of Survivor in the Dominican Republic. The reality TV series, which aired its original British version on ITV from 2001 to 2002, returned to screens 20 years after its cancellation.
It comes after Joel revealed in October that ‘nothing can prepare you’ for fatherhood following the birth of his son Wilde.
He and wife Hannah Cooper, 34, welcomed their first child in September and announced the news in an Instagram post.
The Masked Singer presenter revealed his TV friend and mum-of-three Holly Willoughby has already given the couple some parenting advice.
Speaking about becoming a father, Joel told The Mirror: ‘It’s amazing, it’s everything everyone says it will be and more. Nothing can prepare you for that. But we are very happy because our new family and Hannah have been extremely wonderful.”
Recalling Holly’s advice, Joel said, “I think you’ve read all the books in the world, but you’re still pretty naive about what’s going to happen.”
The show may be under strict conditions, but it’s fair to say that since Joel will be the host, viewers can expect something with a comedic twist.
‘I hope I will be a good father. And Holly Willoughby gave me some great advice and said, ‘All you have to do is love them.’ And I think that’s actually the best advice you can get.”
Joel also shared how his Masked Singer co-star Davina McCall has also given them great advice and that he regularly texts with Emma Willis about the trials and tribulations of parenthood.
Joel and Hannah had kept their baby’s gender a secret during the pregnancy, but revealed they had welcomed a son named Wilde.
Wrapped in a blanket, Hannah shared a photo of her son’s feet and wrote: ‘Wild Cooper-Dommett. Pinterest perfect baby feet that are already bigger than his father’s.’
