‘It’s tough, but it’ll be fun,’ KL Rahul on IND Tour of SA

Tough challenges and fun await KL Rahul and the Indian team.

New Delhi: Star Indian player KL Rahul has embraced the challenge from the South Africans and despite being tough, he believes it will be fun if they beat the South Africans in their own backyard. Right after the Australia T20I series, India will travel to Africa to play the Proteas in an ODI, T20I and Test series.

”It is difficult to become the best T20I team in the world. It is difficult to dominate the South African pacers on their home turf. But beating South Africa in their own backyard is fine,” KL Rahul said in a promotional video for Star sports ahead of the T20I series, which starts from December 10.

Likes of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are rested for the tour as they requested the management to do so. Mohammed Shami, who is treating an injury, is subject to his fitness.

It’s going to be a tough challenge… but it’s only fun when it’s tough, right?
