It also means that Mahek, who has several million views on viral videos, could generate income from her TikTok account even though she is confused.

Mahek and her accomplice mother Ansreen, 46, murdered Saqib Hussein21, and his friend Mohammed Hashim Ijazuddin, also 21.

Ansreen had an affair with Saqib, who splashed out thousands of pounds on her and took her out on lavish dates.

During their three-year relationship, they regularly met for sexual trysts in hotels in Birmingham and London.

Ansreen decided to quit it with lover Saqib – which angered him and led him to threaten to expose Ansreen to her husband.

The killer mother-daughter duo then plotted to silence Saqib.

They arranged a meeting in a Tesco parking lot, and allowed others to “jump” him.

Are Skoda was then chased by two cars containing eight people, including the Bukharis.

Saqib was found dead in a burning car along with his friend Mohammed after their car was attacked rammed off the A46 during a 100mph chase in Leicestershire.

Their bodies were so badly burned that their families could not identify them.

Fame had reached her. She thought she was untouchable

Months after Mahek's conviction, her TikTok account is still active with 164,000 followers.

The sun first reported the shock in September – with bosses yet to pull her page.

Although she doesn't post from her cell, her videos, including those that joke about murder, are still viewed.

Saqib's father Sajad did still haunted by what happened.

In his first interview since the murders in February 2022, he told The Sun: “We never expected to bury our own child. It is still very raw.”

And he insists social media is partly to blame, after Mahek's 'fame' on the site sucked her into a fantasy life.

Sajad, aged 46, father of five, from Banbury, Oxon, said: 'Fame had gotten to her. She thought she was untouchable, above the law.”

And he believes Saqib, who was around 18 when the affair began, was effectively 'groomed' by mother-of-two Ansreen.

Sajad says: “It would have been his first serious relationship. I think he trusted her completely.

“He was so young. It might not have been illegal, but it was still grooming, I guess. She is older than his own mother. She should have known better.”

And he says about the social media platform that made Mahek a star: “TikTok played a big role in this. If it weren't for social media, they might never have met and none of this would have happened.”

TikTokwho are not required to delete her account have been contacted for comment.

Sajad has decided to break his silence – along with Mohammed Hashim's father Sikander Hayat – before entering ITV documentary, TikTok: Murder Gone Viral – The Mother & Daughter Killers.

The documentary airs on ITV on Tuesday at 9pm.
