APPLE fans are amazed by an overlooked trick that can make your flashlight even brighter.

The tweak is hidden in a secret menu that’s easy to miss unless you know it’s there.

First you need to find the Control Center.

If you iPhone without a Home button you have to swipe down from the top right corner.

And if your iPhone has a Home button, simply swipe up from the bottom of the screen.

Then look for the flashlight icon, which is where you normally tap to turn it on.

However, if you hold your finger on it, a hidden brightness menu will appear.

You can then drag or tap to adjust the flashlight’s brightness levels.

This means you can have it extra bright when you need it, or a little dimmer when you don’t need the maximum.

That’s not the only thing iOS flashlight trick you should know.

The bright light of your iPhone can also come in handy if you’ve lost your handset.

If you know you have lost it somewhere at home, you can ask Apple‘s Siri to turn on the flashlight.

This is especially useful if you lose it in the dark.

Simply say, “Hey Siri, turn on my flashlight.”

And if it’s nearby, hopefully you’ll see the bright light appear.

For this to work, you must have set your settings correctly beforehand.

Go to Settings > Siri & Search and make sure Allow Siri when locked is enabled.

And then go to Settings > Siri & Search > Listen for and make sure “Hey Siri” is enabled.

If it is set to Off, the trick will not work.
