January Jones discovers that the name ‘Jim’ is short for ‘James’

“Last night I spent over thirty [minutes] as I lay in bed thinking about the name Jim,” Jones, 46, wrote via Instagram Story on Tuesday, January 9. “Like what a weird name. It’s not an abbreviation for anything, it doesn’t mean anything. Imagine Rose’s love interest in Titanic was Jim’s name, would you even care if he froze? Probably not.”
The Crazy men alum went on to share that she finally asked her mother about it and discovered that the name “Jim” is short for “James.”
‘I’m furious, how did someone get to Jim through James? So stupid,” she shared. “I’m so ashamed that the word Jimothy was stuck in my head for a few minutes. I’ll never get that time back. And sorry about the Jims. I mean no disrespect. I also feel sorry for my family about how things are going for me.”

“I never expected my midlife crisis to say ‘take fashion cues from teenage boys,’ and yet here I am,” she captioned a photo of herself kneeling in the grass, wearing a loose blue T-shirt with a black lace skirt and black leather platform boots. .
The actress also shared the photo on her Instagram Story, adding, “My son is doing this pose in photos now so I did it to make fun of him and the jokes on me because he’s right it definitely makes you look cooler look.”
Jones welcomed son Xander in 2011, but the father has yet to reveal them.
