Date night! Jill Duggar and her husband, Derick Dillardenjoyed some much needed quiet time together on Friday 9th June.

β€œπŸ‘©β€β€οΈβ€πŸ’‹β€πŸ‘¨So grateful to have had the best spa and sushi date with my favorite person @derickdillard… + our little tag along. πŸ˜‰,” the Count on alum, 32, wrote via Instagram, referring to the couple’s 11-month-old son, Freddie. β€œThank you for making this possible ❀️ @jingervuolo @jeremy_vuolo @jerjdeg @samanthadegro0t πŸ’ž.”

In the social media upload, the married couple β€” who married in 2014 and also share sons Israel, 8, and Samuel, 5 β€” snapped selfies of their intimate sushi dinner before getting a pedicure together.

The couple’s Friday outing comes hours after they revealed that their forthcoming memoir, The costs countwould be released earlier than originally planned.

β€œThanks to your overwhelming support and interest in our story, we were able to pull some strings and now the book is coming out four months earlier than originally anticipated,” they wrote in a Friday post on their website. Dillard family blogging. “The NEW release date for Counting the Cost is September 12, 2023!”

Duggar – who is one of them Jim Bob And Michelle Dugar‘s 19 children β€” announced late last month that she’s sharing her story in her debut memoir. The book is co-written by Dillard, 34, and Craig Borlase.

According to a post on Jill’s Instagram at the time, The costs count describes the couple’s “painful journey as part of the reality-show-filming Duggar family.”

She continued at the time: β€œAs the cover photo indicates, the book is meant to represent a story that was difficult but hopeful. The challenges we’ve faced, including disrespect for boundaries, greed, manipulation, and betrayal, aren’t much different from what many people in our audience have faced. However, more than 15 years of reality television, backed by secrecy and lies, amounts to pouring gasoline on the fire of our struggle.

Jill became famous through her family 19 kids and counting reality TV series in 2008, in which TLC followed the day-to-day lives of the large family as they were raised to follow strict fundamentalist beliefs. Jill has since spoken out about growing up on TV in Prime Videos Shiny happy people docuseries, along with her cousin Amy Duggar King. The four-part series – which Jim Bob, 57, and Michelle, 56, have publicly condemned – also delved into the demise of the great brood amid Jill’s older brother Josh Duggarallegations of child abuse and conviction for child pornography.

19 kids and counting was canceled by TLC in 2015 after 35-year-old Josh was accused of inappropriately touching several young girls as a teenager, including some of his sisters. Jill and brother Jessa Duggartwo of Josh’s victims, then led the family Count on spinoff. The Midwife and Dillard eventually left the show in 2017 and claimed in Shiny happy people that they were never paid for their on-camera performances.
