What is Joseph Parker’s net worth?

Joseph Parker, born January 9, 1992, is a professional boxer from New Zealand.

According to various reports, Parker has amassed a net worth of over $5 million, or £3.9 million.

However, some estimate Parker’s career earnings at an even higher figure, as he had a $13.1 million payday for his world title fight against Anthony Joshua in 2018 – despite not winning.

Parker’s match against Dillian Whyte in 2018 saw him earn significantly less than his fight against AJ, at around £1 million.

Reports also suggest Parker walked away with £2.5million following his 2021 fight with Derek Chisora.

What is Joseph Parker’s boxing record?

Joseph Parker’s heavyweight boxing record is 34-3-0.

The boxer made his debut in 2012 against Dean Garmonsway and won by TKO.

Parker, he has good footwork, he probably has better defense, he is strong and he can hit hard too.

Joe Joyce

Parker then lost to Dillian Whyte and Anthony Joshua in 2018, both by unanimous decision, and another loss came in a 2022 fight with Joe Joyce, by KO.

Incredibly, ahead of his clash with Joyce, fellow boxing legend Tyson Fury gave his home to Parker to stay in while he trained.

Parker made the decision to swap his Las Vegas base for Morecambe after contacting coach Andy Lee – on Fury’s advice.

He previously explained: “This is the third camp with Andy. So we’re learning, I feel like I’m learning more. I feel like he added a few more things to my game.

“Tyson is giving me his house, just the whole setup and everything we need to make it a great camp is done.

So there’s no real excuse. If I fight this battle for myself, I’m going to win because I had the best camp.

“And you know, be realistic: if I don’t win, I’m not good enough.”

In December 2023, Deontay Wilder suffered a shock defeat to Joseph Parker, with the New Zealander scoring an impressive points win in Saudi Arabia – moments before AJ stopped Otto Wallin.

In addition, Parker also competed at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore, where he won a silver medal, and at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, where he placed 5th.

Over the course of his career, Parker has also received a number of awards, including the New Zealand Pacific Island Sports Emerging Talent Award in 2011, the Order of Merit of Samoa in 2016 and the 2017 Counties Manukau Sporting Excellence Sportsman of the Year award.

With an impressive record under his belt, Parker will return to the ring once again in March 2024 after it was announced he would face Zhilei Zhang on the undercard of Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou’s blockbuster fight.

He comes into the fight having stunned Deontay Wilder in December and in turn defeated his clash with AJ.

Meanwhile, Zhang is coming off two wins over Joe Joyce and is currently the WBO interim champion.

Speaking to SunSport ahead of the clash, Joyce said: “If Zhang can hit him like he hit me, then obviously it’s Zhang.

“But Parker has good footwork, he probably has better defense, he’s strong and he can hit hard too.

“It’s a different fight. He might be better at dealing with lefties and have a better game plan to beat him.

“So I’m really intrigued to see what the outcome of that fight will be and that’s the point: boxing is about entertainment and entertaining fights.”

The undercard will be shown live on DAZN PPV and Sky Sports Box Office.

You can stream all the highly anticipated action live from the DAZN and Sky Sports Box Office websites, as well as their apps, both of which are available to download to your mobile device or tablet.
