Katie Boulter speaks out about life as one half of the 'Kate and Wills of Australian tennis' – and says it's 'like a circus' with Top 10 star boyfriend Alex de Minaur: 'I share it with everyone!'

Katie Boulter is one half of the Kate and Wills of the Australian tennis season and admits it takes some getting used to.
The British number one has been the subject of huge interest in this part of the world due to her long-term relationship with Alex de Minaur, who has become the first man from the host country to be ranked in the world's top ten since Lleyton Hewitt.
Since arriving before Christmas, she has become accustomed to more attention and getting the paparazzi treatment more often than she might even get around Wimbledon time.
“It was definitely fun to be part of it because it was a bit of a circus, but a good circus,” said Boulter, who will meet China's Yue Yuan in the first round of the Australian Open.
'I can't walk down the street with him separately. I feel like I'm sharing it with everyone, which isn't a bad thing.

'I think it's great that he's getting the attention he really deserves. He put in the work. He is playing the best tennis of his life.
“It really fills me with a lot of pride to actually see him in this moment because I know everything he's been through, how difficult and how strong he is with everything he does.
“I think he rubbed off on me in so many different ways: the way he holds himself, the way he works.
'With his expertise, it is great for me because it is a support. He's someone I can talk to about anything, including anything related to my career.
“It makes a huge difference to have that extra support and I feel like it shows.”
They were training together in Alicante before heading south for the opening match of the season.

With Nick Kyrgios still sidelined due to injury, De Minaur can pretty much only hold out hope, but the 24-year-old sees only positives.
“I'm living my dream,” he said. “I can wake up in the morning and know that I have achieved a huge milestone that was very difficult to achieve. I didn't know if I would achieve it.
'Now I can look at myself and say that I did it, that I am a completely different player than last year. It's exciting because I hopefully have bigger and better things coming up.”
Boulter and De Minaur have been together since 2020.
