Katie Holmes DID NOT with her hunky talent agent Jeremy Barber despite rumours

Katie Holmes and her hunky talent agent Jeremy Barber fueled romance rumors after sharing a friendly hug while out for a walk in New York City on Saturday morning.

Later that day, however, her representative had inquired Page six that the two had a strictly platonic equation.

As they hugged on the sidewalk on Saturday, the Dawson’s Creek actress, 44, beamed with joy as she wrapped her arms around Barber’s shoulders as he rocked a cup of iced coffee.

The pair enjoyed an animated conversation as they walked around together, and at one point they were both overcome with laughter.

While a child’s mother told a lively story, Barber paid close attention to her every word as he smiled and nodded.

For their laid-back outing, the Alone Together star looked casual in a white tee, long gray skirt, black oversized sunglasses and a pair of Adidas sneakers.

Finally, she pulled her glossy dark brown locks back into a flirty ponytail, after seemingly working up a sweat from the humidity.

Barber looked handsome in a black quilted best over matching long sleeves, charcoal gray slacks, tennis shoes and goggles.

Holmes’ rep insists that she and Barber have a strictly professional one, as he is a partner in the Motion Picture Literary and Talent Departments (UTA).

In December, Holmes and production company Lafayette Pictures signed with his talent agency, which also represents Johnny Depp, Harrison Ford and Charlize Theron.

In April, she concluded her time performing in the off-Broadway show, The Wanderers.

The versatile performer portrayed a movie star, who contacts a married novelist, and their interaction later tests the man’s marriage.

The stage production marked the third time she shared her talents on stage. She made her Broadway debut in 2008 in a revival of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons, and returned in 2012 in Dead Accounts.

Katie’s latest film, Rare Objects, which she directed, co-wrote and starred in, hit theaters April 14.

She starred alongside Julia Mayorga, who played a young woman trying to put aside her traumatic past when she started working in an antique shop.

Last year, she and her ex-boyfriend Bobby Wooten III split after dating for almost a year.

“They just didn’t work together long term,” a source told Us Weekly at the time.

The 33-year-old actress and self-taught musician made her red carpet debut in May 2022.

The couple were first linked when they were spotted kissing and holding hands in New York City in April 2022.

The following month, they appeared together at The Silver Ball, The Moth’s 25th Anniversary Gala.

They were together for a total of eight months and during that time they didn’t shy away from public displays of affection while on the road.

In the summer, the couple traveled to The Hamptons, where Katie was Bobby’s plus-one at a friend’s wedding and met his family.

“Katie spent time with Bobby’s family, who really liked her,” a source told Us about the event.

The person added that the movie star was “very humble and kind to everyone.”

It was also reported that “when they would go without seeing each other, they would kiss and be very happy to be together again.”

Holmes and Wooten were introduced to each other through mutual friends.

The two had a lot in common, both coming from the Midwest and performing on Broadway.

Bobby starred in American Utopia, while Katie made her Broadway debut in the 2008 revival of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons and acted in Dead Accounts in 2012.

Katie was previously linked to chef Emilio Vitolo Jr. from NYC after her year-long romance with Academy Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx.

She was famously married to actor Tom Cruise from 2006 until their final divorce in 2012. The former couple shares 17-year-old daughter Suri.
