Amy now plans to throw herself into lung disease awareness and has also donated her magazine money, plus all proceeds and royalties from the book, to three charities that have helped her.

Amy’s book is about her daughter Katie’s plastic surgery and her tumultuous romantic relationships.

One claim included the fact her daughter’s ex-husband Kieran once kissed her on the lips before texting her to reference the moment.

Amy took aim at Katie’s third husband as she recalled the time he tried on her.

While discussing the countless times Kieran had been unfaithful to her daughter, 45, Amy shared how the former sex addict then turned his attention to her.

She explained: “One time, after going to dinner at Kate’s place, Kieran and I kissed cheek to cheek goodbye and he [Kieran] “accidentally” kissed me on the lips.’

Revealing the surprise message she then sent, she continued, “Later I got a text from him saying, ‘That was nice.’ I was shocked and tried to ignore it.

A representative for Kieran said in response to MailOnline: ‘It is disturbing that attention is not being paid to the fathers’ slandered children, who are once again entangled in a vicious hate campaign of untruths in a thinly veiled attempt to pin the blame on others. ‘

All these men have one common denominator – and that is Katie Price. An insightful side of Amy Price, a predictable read. More fiction than fact.’

During a 2021 interview, Katie revealed that her terminally ill mother Amy was struggling to breathe as she continued to battle the debilitating lung condition.

Amy, was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in 2017, and Katie revealed that the condition has greatly hampered her ability to live the active lifestyle she once prided herself on.

During an interview on BBC Northern Ireland’s Nolan Live, Katie said: ‘My mum doesn’t smoke, she’s always been so healthy and she has an incurable lung disease and there’s nothing you can do about it.

So the British Lung Foundation, she put us in touch with them to talk to other people and they just said, ‘Build memories, take lots of pictures’ and that’s all you can really do. What else can you do? You know it’s coming.

The mother-of-five continued: “She only has 32 percent of her lung capacity left, we have 100 percent, she has 32.

“So if you’re imagining yourself that breathless right now, that must be awful, and it’s a horrible way to go.” It’s horrible to see my mom going through it because she’s so active, it’s brutal.”

During an appearance on ITV’s Good Morning Britain with her daughter, a glamor model, a few weeks earlier, Amy said she is in her ‘last few years’.

GMB hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid said, “What about COVID and stuff, if I get a cold or COVID there’s just no hope so that would be the end of it for me.”

Amy, who is harboring hopes for a lung transplant, continued: ‘But positively, I hope, I’m pushing to see if I can get on the transplant list because there’s no cure and there’s nothing else they can do. for me really.

“My age is against me with the transplant, because the results aren’t as good as you get older.”

The same year, Katie expressed fears that she spent her last Christmas with terminally ill mother Amy amid her health problems.

She said she was concerned about “how long” she will be with her mother as her health had deteriorated in the weeks leading up to the holiday season.

What is Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis?

  • Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a condition in which scar tissue builds up in the lungs
  • It can lead to shortness of breath and eventually respiratory failure, and has been labeled the “silent killer.”
  • The early symptoms of the condition are often overlooked or confused with the common cold or flu
  • IPF currently has no cure

Claiming that the last few holidays have been “s**t,” Katie said she’s trying to stay positive under the circumstances.

Speak with The sunKatie explained, “This year my mom has deteriorated more, so I really want to celebrate Christmas this year, because I don’t know how long she’ll be here.”

‘There’s nothing we can do about that, I’ll talk to a therapist about that, I’ll make do with that.’

“I’m not saying it will be her last Christmas, but I really want to enjoy it. I’m really looking forward to this Christmas. The last few are s**t.’

Amy revealed in 2017 that she had been diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, an incurable condition that causes scarring of the lungs.

When Amy first got IPF, doctors gave her a life expectancy of three to five years.

For the past few months, Amy has been shielding her family to protect herself during the COVID-19 pandemic, with Katie only able to see her mother through the window.

The pair were able to see each other alongside Katie’s half-sister Sophie in October, after passing a coronavirus test so they knew they were safe to see Amy on her birthday.

Katie reflected on last year’s shocking news from Loose Women and said, “I couldn’t take it and when you hear ‘terminal’ you think she doesn’t have long to live.”

Amy discussed her well-being during the same April 2019 interview, saying, “I’m not that bad.

“I’ve been in for tests this week with the transplant team, they’re monitoring me, my lung function tests have gone down a bit, but that’s to be expected with what I have, as it’s a progressive disease.

“But they’re doing all the tests on the other organs in your body to prepare you for when they think you need a transplant — I’m not yet. [on the transplant list] – and what they do is they look at everything to make sure you can handle it, your heart, liver and kidneys and everything, and they’re still 100 percent, they’re fine.

“So the moment they say, ‘You’re too healthy, go enjoy yourself.'”

Katie has also said that when the family first discovered Amy’s diagnosis, she tried to offer her mother a lung.

“She would never let me because I have kids, but it’s not that easy. There aren’t that many on the transplant list, they have to wait until you’re almost dead,” she said.
