Kerry Katona showed off her impressive Christmas decorations as she gave her country home a festive makeover.

The former Atomic Kitten singer, 43, filmed the decorated exterior of her home, which included Christmas lights, a large red glittery bow above her door, a bunting arch and a wreath.

Filming from her green Lamborghini, Kerry drove up her long drive as they sang Christmas carols.

In her caption, which she posted to her Instagram account on Sunday, she tagged her suppliers, before adding “and happy new year!”

She later shared a second photo of her indoor decorations as she watched Christmas movies in her lounge in front of the fire.

Kerry showed off her Grinch-themed Christmas tree, which was decorated with red, white and green baubles, candy canes and white netting.

A deluxe Nutcracker sat next to her TV and she placed two Grinch-themed boxes on her coffee table.

She wrote: “I’m having a Christmas movie marathon on this miserable rainy Sunday so I can keep the Christmas spirit alive before I go on tour.”

Fans rushed to the comments to say how ‘magical’ her mansion looked with the decorations up.

One wrote: ‘It looks beautiful Kerry, your house looks lush.’

Another said: ‘This looks so magical. I can’t wait for Christmas.’

“Looks beautiful,” a third added.

Another wrote: ‘House looks great!!’

“I love this so much x can’t wait to put mine on!” gushed a fifth.

It comes after Kerry revealed she got into the festive spirit at the start of this year before taking up panto in December.

She wrote in a snap next to her Christmas tree: ‘Well guys, it’s officially Christmas at the Katona residence!!!!!! Yes I know, I know it’s early!!!!!!

‘But I’m going on tour for panto in December, so I want to make the most of the Christmas spirit with The Rugrats!’

The singer continued, “I couldn’t have done this without the amazing help from @Decorators.For.Christmas. Think we’ll watch The Grinch tonight!’ (sic)

Last week, she explained that she didn’t plan to wait to unpack her Christmas tree and decorations, opting instead to put them up on November 1.

Writing in her latest OK! Magazine column, Kerry said: ‘I usually go all out on Halloween and go to town with decorations – as you can see in the photo! But for the first time this year I didn’t do anything. Hosting is a lot of work.’

She explained that she wanted to make the most of the Christmas celebrations as she was busy working in December and it marked her last Christmas in Britain.

The former singer previously revealed she plans to start a new life in Spain with her fiancé Ryan Mahoney.

Kerry wrote: ‘My Christmas decorations will be up on November 1st though. I can not wait. I work all December, so when I put them up I won’t be home to enjoy them.

‘I really want to get into the Christmas spirit and feel festive, so I will continue with that throughout November. Especially since it’s our last Christmas before we move to Spain.’

The mother-of-five and her fiancé hope to swap their country home in Cheshire for a new home in Marbella this summer, when her lease expires in June.

The couple headed to the Costa del Sol earlier this month and Kerry revealed they had already viewed houses.

Writing in her OK! columnshe shared: ‘I’m in Marbella this week and I feel so great, I just love being in the sun.

‘We’ve done a lot of house viewings here this week with Drumelia Real Estate and we’ve found the perfect villa, but unfortunately we won’t be able to do anything until June next year.

‘It’s nice to get an idea of ​​the areas and places we want to move to. I love England and the English, but I hate the weather. I feel so much better here.’

Kerry is the proud mother of children Molly, 22, Lilly, 20, Heidi, 16, Max, 15, and DJ, nine, and has admitted the move will be easier now that her children are older.
