Kieran Culkin's brothers join 'the second best hospital in the galaxy'

Shane Culkin48, Macaulay Culkin43, Christian Culkin37, and Rory Culkin34, will lend their voices to an episode of Kieran's upcoming Prime Video animated series The second best hospital in the galaxy.
In a sneak preview obtained by Entertainment weekly on Tuesday, February 20, we will see how Dr. Plowp (Kieran) tries to build a relationship with colleague Dr. Sleech (Stephanie Hsu). However, things get tricky when Dr.'s siblings. Plowp (Macaulay, Rory, Christian and Shane) enter the picture and become involved in Dr. Sleech.
“Is this a sex dream or a sex nightmare?” asks Dr. Sleech laughs out loud when they see Dr.'s brothers. Meet Plowp.
“Why not both?” Dr. Plowp responds. “These are my brothers.”

The project marks the first acting opportunity for all five brothers together. But more than 30 years ago, Kieran, 41, co-starred with his older brother Macaulay Home alone and the subsequent sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, where he played Kevin McCallister's cousin Fuller McCallister.
After the role, kieran played the lead role in the Father of the bride franchise. Most recently, he received critical success for his role as COO Roman Roy in the HBO series Succession.

Thanks to Prime VideoLong before he rose to fame among his brothers, Kieran recalled a simple childhood spent being raised by his parents in a New York City apartment.
“It was just a hallway and there were no dividing doors, except for the bathroom, which had no lock,” he said. Vanity fair in 2018. “They raised seven kids in that apartment – for years! They just kept bringing babies into this little space.”

Although Kieran has since found success as a Hollywood actor, he learned from brother Macaulay that fame isn't all glitz and glamour. In a March 2023 interview with EsquireKieran described the discomfort he felt watching his brother struggle with fame after appearing in the film Home alone.
“Even then, as a kid, I remember thinking, 'That sucks for him,'” he told the publication. “I had an unhealthy relationship with what I did for a living. I really wanted to do it, but I didn't want to be successful at it.”

Thanks to Prime VideoThe Culkin brothers aren't the only famous faces expected to appear The second best hospital in the galaxy. Prime Video previously confirmed this Tracee Ellis Ross, Bowen Yang And Jay Ellis will star in the first season of the animated sci-fi comedy.
Season 1 of The second best hospital system begins streaming on Prime Video on Friday, February 23.
