Kyle Richards admits she's STILL living with ex Mauricio Umansky SEVEN months after they split – as she opens up about their tumultuous split and uncertain future… but remains tight-lipped about rumored lover Morgan Wade

Kyle Richards has admitted that her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky is still living with her at their family home in the San Fernando Valley, seven months after it was revealed they had split – but confirmed they do sleep in 'different rooms'.

The 55-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star claimed she and 53-year-old Mauricio still “love each other very much” and have no idea what the “future holds right now” for their marriage, amid of rumors that she is in a romantic relationship with 29-year-old singer Morgan Wade.

The reality TV alum appeared on Wednesday's episode of Today with Hoda and Jenna and didn't talk about her personal life and her husband of 28 years, joking that it felt like she was “in a therapist's office.”

'The current status is that we live under the same roof. It feels so funny talking about this,” Kyle said, before adding, “We live under the same roof in different rooms. We are fortunate to have other homes. He comes and goes, and when we're all there, it's like… when he comes to eat there, great!'

As for how their divorce came about last year, Kyle told hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, “I think there were certain things that were there and we kind of put it on the back burner for a long time.”

Referring to their family life, she continued: “You're pregnant and you're breastfeeding and then it was working and juggling the kids and you kind of forget about it, you know, and it comes back to the surface. And I think it just came to a breaking point.

'I've been through a lot. I lost my best friend. I think that changes you and makes you look at things differently,” she said, referring to her friend Lorene Shea – who died by suicide in May 2022.

'I think that definitely played a big role. But just… you know… what you're willing to accept and not accept. It's hard because it's not like there was one big thing. We love each other very much and have a lot of respect for each other and that makes it more difficult to make such a decision.'

Kyle and Mauricio's divorce appears on season 13 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but she admitted that when the cameras first started rolling last year, even their children didn't know about the split.

“It was really hard to shoot this season because when the cameras went up, we hadn't even shared this with our daughters. I have a job to share my life and to be honest, and I always have been, and he wasn't really willing to share that.

'That was a big challenge for me to balance that. Then I thought, “This is pretty obvious, so I'm going to have to say that things aren't great right now.”

When asked if she thinks there's a chance of her and Mauricio getting back together, Kylie replied, “I really don't know what my future holds at this point, to be honest, which is the weirdest part of all of this is.

“I've always had so much stability my whole life, and I don't really know where my future is… you know, next week,” she added, before admitting that she found her fans' comments “very difficult.”

“Even well-meaning people say, 'What are you doing?' But you don't live in our house, you don't know what's going on. Do you think I wanted to be in this position after being married all this time? I mean, my dream was to be married forever and grow old with this person. I didn't want to be in this position, believe me. So it's difficult to be in the public eye.

'People say, 'you were my inspiration,' and I understand that I'm ruining their imagination. I even had close friends who were upset about it at first, so I understand that. But there are also so many sweet messages and people who say: 'I admire your strength and you inspire me.'

Despite still living with Mauricio, Kyle has been linked to singer Morgan for several months and dating rumors reached an all-time high in August last year after she joined Morgan in her music video for her single Fall In Love With Me, featuring the two women pined for each other and climaxed with a passionate kiss between them.

Earlier this month, Morgan opened up about how she and Kyle got along after they were rumored to be having issues after the singer deleted photos of the TV star from her Instagram page.

“I have no beef with @kylerichards18,” Morgan said in a caption alongside a photo of her posing next to Kyle at her recent concert at the Country Music Hall of Fame.

In the photo, the duo had their arms around each other, flashing megawatt smiles, with no signs of tension between them — and Kyle decided to share it on her Instagram Stories.

Last month, Kyle said Page six that the reason Morgan deleted the majority of her posts was part of preparations to promote the music she is about to release.

Earlier this month, Morgan squashed rumors of issues between her and Kyle when she posted a photo and said she had “no beef” with her.

“It's very common for artists to do that,” Kyle said. “That didn't mean anything.”

In December last year, Kyle exclusively told DailyMail.com that she can sympathize with the confusion over the current status of her relationship with Mauricio, as she revealed that they live a “peaceful” existence at home with their daughters, and even on and off enjoy movie nights.

“We're good friends and we love each other, so we're very lucky in that regard,” she said. 'I think that's why people are confused and sometimes wonder if it's true that we're divorced.

'It's even hard for me to believe that we are too, so I can understand it. But in a way we are lucky, we don't argue, we can have a calm atmosphere in the house and give each other that space.'
