Whether she’s strutting down the catwalk, posing on the cover of a glossy magazine or gracing the latest society on her knees with her fashionable presence, it’s clear that Lady Amelia Windsor is one of the most fortunate in Britain.

Like her Windsor cousins and Princess Margaret’s grandchildren, Lady Amelia is what you might call a ‘satellite royal’: impossibly well-connected, an occasional guest on the balcony of Buckingham Palace and yet free to do as she pleases .

The 28-year-old model, signed to Storm Model Management, is the granddaughter of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, making her a third cousin of the Prince of Wales and 43rd in line to the throne.

Once described by Tatler as ‘the most beautiful royal’, Amelia trained at the exclusive St Mary’s, Ascot, where boarders pay more than £45,000 a year – proving she has brains as well as looks.

She took a year off education to travel around India and Thailand, before studying Italian at the University of Edinburgh.

Since graduating, Amelia has pursued a mixed career involving modelling, fashion design and writing for publications such as Tatler, including appearing on the magazine cover.

On the books of Storm Management, an agency that once represented Kate Moss, Lady Amelia has modeled for brands like Dolce & Gabbana.

‘Amelia is hugely committed to supporting sustainable fashion and her Instagram features many of the sustainable brands she is passionate about.’

In 2021, she attracted more attention than ever by posing in Polaroid style and wearing a baby pink bra, made with seaweed and wood pulp, for Alexander Clementine.

Lady Amelia is a big fan of social media and regularly shares glimpses of her glamorous life with followers.

On her Instagram page she regularly posts style tips and news about her latest collaborations, such as jewelry specialist Alice van Cal.
