Lilydale: Two killed when light plane crashes in NSW
Two people have died in a plane crash in a rural part of northern NSW, police have confirmed.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the accident in Lilyfield, 45km west of Grafton, at around 8.45am on Tuesday.
The crash is believed to have damaged power lines near the accident site.
An Air Rescue helicopter arrived on scene at around 8.47am before immediately returning to Lismore.
