Josie Gibson awkwardly questioned Jamie Lynn Spears about her famous family as the celebrities got to know each other after arriving at camp on Sunday.

The This Morning host, 38, quizzed the American actress and singer, 32, about her musically inclined relatives – just weeks after she was branded a ‘total b****’ by pop superstar sister Britney in her bombshell memoir The Woman In Me .

After Josie asked, “Who got you into music?” Jamie Lynn explained: ‘I’ve always been a bit into music, you know what I mean?’.

As the This Morning presenter goes on to ask: ‘Very musical family, aren’t they?’

Sheepishly, Jamie Lynn said “Yes” and talked about her mother who loved to play the piano, but didn’t mention her older sister, 41, who has sold 150 million records worldwide.

In her memoir, the Hit Me Baby One More Time singer slammed Jamie Lynn’s behavior in their family home due to her poor treatment of their mother, who was struggling in the aftermath of her marriage breakdown.

Britney wrote that she came home from tour to find 11-year-old Jamie Lynn “ruling” their house, adding that she felt “betrayed” by the way her sister had “changed” while she was away.

Britney also said she is “working on being more compassionate” towards her sibling after they feuded for years.

In her tell-all tome, Jamie Lynn claims she had to “stop fighting” her controversial conservatorship, which ran from 2008-2021.

Earlier in the episode, Josie wasted no time making jokes at the expense of fellow campmate Nigel Farage.

She was miles away from the Australian jungle when she was dropped into the scorching outback for the first challenge alongside the controversial politician, 59.

While Josie admits it “I thought this was a good idea until they dropped us off in the middle of nowhere. I’ve never been so petrified.’

Nigel replied: ‘It’s something else in life, it’s an adventure! It’s a challenge, it won’t be easy, but why not?’.

While Josie joked: ‘It can’t be worse than Brexit!’

Laughing, Nigel said, “Oh… it didn’t last long, did it? It did not take long. I had a feeling we were going to get a bit of that!’

However, Josie quickly assured him that she was “just joking.”

The former UKIP and Brexit party leader is believed to earn as much as £1.5million for his appearance in the ITV series.

The GB News star’s signing has proven controversial as he is a famously divisive figure known for his right-wing views on immigration and gender pay gaps.

Some fans are not exactly happy with Farage’s participation, with almost many threatening to boycott the series.

At X, social media users make their case as to why they took action against the show.

One user wrote: ‘ITV infamously chooses the most atrocious politicians. They protect these guests by promising that they will show them a ‘different side’.

‘There are no other sides to bastards like Matt Hancock and Nigel Farage and attempts to rehabilitate them for the nation are propaganda. #BoycottImACeleb’.

‘Hancock was bad enough, but I can’t even look at Farage. Do they realize how many viewers they will lose with this decision? #BoycottImACeleb,” wrote a second.

A third user added: @ITV @antanddec @DecsMcpartlin I boycotted @imacelebrity when you put @MattHancock on your show. Now the odious @Nigel_Farage.

“I’m furious that you’re giving these people a voice, a platform and a way to be seen. I can’t do it, I’m furiously spitting feathers. #BoycottITV #Boycottimaceleb’.

I’m a celebrity… Get me out of here! continues Monday 20 November at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
