Macaulay Culkin and fiancée Brenda Song are doting parents as they enjoy a park day with son Dakota, two, wearing 'Daddy' and 'Mommy' hats

Macaulay Culkin and his fiancée, Brenda Song, were spotted enjoying quality time with their son, Dakota, during a relaxing park day in Sherman Oaks on Friday.

The Home Alone star, 43 – whose brother Kieran Culkin recently won an Emmy for his role in Succession – and the former Disney Channel actress, 35, wore adorable hats with the words “Mama” and “Dad.”

The actor opted for casual comfort by wearing a red Sesame Street short-sleeved shirt and black sweatpants.

He donned black and white colored sneakers that were tied with laces and also added a pair of sunglasses to protect his eyes during the day trip.

Brenda was also seen dressing down, opting for baggy sweatpants and an oversized, black and white striped sweater.

She paired the ensemble with a black jacket to help her stay warm in colder weather and threw on a pair of comfortable white sneakers.

The actress easily wore a smaller jacket over her left arm.

Macaulay was seen having fun with his two-year-old son, Dakota, as he ran through the grass.

The trio were then spotted holding hands as they made their way through a busy car park.

Culkin and Song first crossed paths in 2017 while on the set of Changeland and started dating that same year.

In April 2021, the couple welcomed their first son, and the following year, in January 2022, they got engaged.

The pair also share a second boy, whose birth was confirmed in March 2023 by Macaulay's brother Kieran Culkin.

Last December, the My Girl actor notably received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and was joined by his fiancée and other loved ones.

Macaulay took to the small stage to deliver an emotional speech and a moving tribute to Brenda.

“You are absolutely everything,” he said through tears. 'You are my champion. You are the only person happier for me today than I am. You're not only the best woman I've ever known, you're the best person I've ever known.”

“You have given me my entire purpose. You gave me family,” he added as Song also wiped a fallen tear from her own face.

The star humorously added, “After the birth of our two boys, you have become one of my three favorite people.”

Shortly before the event, it was announced that Culkin would receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with Catherine O'Hara and Natasha Lyonne as speakers. O'Hara played his on-screen mother in Home Alone.

Now that both Culkin and Brenda were engaged, the actress was more likely to open up People in September 2022 to provide an update on the wedding preparations.

“Wedding planning is so expensive and it takes so much time,” she had admitted. “As a new mom, we're so busy.”

The Secret Obsession star went on to say that fitting in the schedule while focusing on motherhood is “very difficult because it's all about priorities.”

Last weekend, Macaulay's brother, Kieran, received an Emmy Award for Best Actor for his critically acclaimed performance in HBO's Succession.

During his speech, the actor gave a special shout out to their mother, Patricia, and to his wife, Jazz Charton.

He said, 'I don't have time, I don't want to get yelled at, so… I have to thank Jesse Armstrong for being a brilliant writer, showrunner and gentleman, thank you for following up, thank you for everything.'

Kieran added emotionally: “I have to switch to the personal very quickly. I have to thank my mother for giving me life; my childhood was great, so thank you for that.”

Towards the end he said sweetly, 'And of course my beautiful wife Jazz. Thank you for sharing your life with me and for giving me two wonderful children. Kinsey Sioux and Wilder Wolf, I love you so much.

He then continued with, “And Jazz – I want more. You said maybe, if I win. I love you so much.'

Following the big Emmy win, it was also revealed that Macaulay and Kieran's mother, Patricia, is in poor health and the Succession star has been helping her get to doctor's appointments, his stepfather Mart Cox said. Page six.

He revealed that she was invited to Macaulay's Walk of Fame ceremony but was unable to attend. Cox also explained that she had stayed at Kieran's house in Brooklyn “a few months before the holidays.”

“Kieran took care of her and she went to doctors in the city. All the kids have been very helpful, for sure. Just from Patty, they have a lot of love in them; she is an incredible woman.”

'We are certainly proud of Kieran and we are very happy that life is just beginning for him. But we have nine children and we love them all.”

'No one ever receives more love than the other. That's how their mother raised them, even though Kieran always thought he was the favorite!' he added.
