A professional makeup artist has shared the three drugstore purchases she swears by.

In her videoCherie Seaswan (@seaswan6), who is in her 50s, revealed her favorite budget-friendly items.

“Join me as I share three drugstore products that are better than their more expensive counterparts,” she told her viewers.

For her first recommendation, TikToker showed her followers a $12 L'Oréal Paris Telescopic original mascara.

“I always say that L'Oreal Telescopic, the original in the gold tube, makes any mascara better,” Cherie said.

“I call this a topper mascara. If I'm wearing a mascara but I notice I need just a little bit more, I pull out L'Oréal Telescopic.”

She layered the product on her lashes to demonstrate its effect.

“See how it adds something extra?” she asked.

Cherie also advised her audience to invest in a $7 Camo Liquid Blush from Elf Cosmetics.

“This blush from Elf, the new Camo Blush, is a beautiful formula, it's so much better than Rare Beauty,” she said.

“First of all, it doesn't come out with all that pigment, it blends into the skin.

“It has a dewy finish, but it really lasts, look how skin-like and beautiful that is.”

As a final suggestion, she showed her viewers an $8 Glow Reviver Lip Oil, also from Elf Cosmetics.

“These Elf lip oils are brand new, I have the Dior [ones] but I got off that Dior train,” Cherie explained.

“These lip oils are amazing, they are super soft, comfortable and very soft on the lips.

“They last a long time because they have a bit of body, just like the Dior.”
