A HUSBAND punched his wife’s rugby-playing lover when he caught her playing, a court heard.

He discovered Christopher Andrews in the kitchen and punched him in the mouth.

Christopher – depicted nude Facebook in a group photo with only a rugby ball covering his tackle, he suffered a split lip.

Lukey, 46, then smashed two TVs and family photos before trying to drag his estranged wife out of the property, accidentally ripping off her top.

Police were called in Blandford, Dorsetand arrested him.

Jason Spelman, prosecuting, said the couple had separated about six weeks earlier and she considered herself single.

But Lukey was released after telling Poole magistrates that he had responded “under extreme provocation” to his wife’s repeated affairs.

The aerospace engineer admitted to beating his wife and her lover criminal damage.

His sentence included 100 hours of unpaid work and a restraining order.
