At the age of 52, Mark Wahlberg looks better than ever.

The shirtless actor showed off his ripped physique as he soaked up the sun in Bridgetown, Barbados on Christmas Day.

Mark – who is on holiday with his family – was wearing patterned shorts when he was caught leaving the sea after taking a dip.

The Ted star was also photographed near some sun loungers, wearing a purple T-shirt while covering his eyes with his sunglasses and shielding his head from the sun with a baseball cap.

Mark’s beach day came as he took to Instagram to reveal one of his hacks when it comes to looking so good, as he wished fans a Merry Christmas on Monday.

As he lowered himself into an ice bath, he said, “Merry Christmas everyone! There’s no better way to start the day than a cold dip. God bless you.

“Everywhere in the world, wherever you are, take time to give thanks and be grateful.”

Mark – who has previously revealed his love of ice baths – has been open in the past about his 4am start when it comes to his intense training regime.

‘It used to be about aesthetics if you wanted to get in shape. Now I want to live a long time,” said Mark People when discussing his training schedule in September.

‘If I don’t train in the morning, I have a lot of trouble towards the end of the day.

‘I probably feel like it [skipping the gym] almost every day… If I cut corners, I can’t be at my best. Everything I’ve done, that I’ve been successful at, is done by doing the work.”

The F45 Training CBO regularly speaks to his 27.4 million Instagram followers about his gym habits, urging fans to “emphasize quality of life” and focus on “longevity” in a recent Instagram video.

In another interview with People Earlier this year, Mark admitted that his training has changed somewhat over the years.

“I’m starting to realize that I’m 51 years old, that I have to stay on my path and know that I don’t have to try to outdo or outdo everyone,” he said.

‘I just have to push myself a little more and keep trying to continue this beautiful life as long as possible.’

The star – who tied the knot with wife Rhea Durham in 2009 – insisted he is ‘getting more results’ with his more recent approach to training, explaining how he targets ‘muscle groups’ and wishes he had ‘looked at people listened’ in his attempts to give him ‘this kind of advice twenty years ago’.
